Weaponator LittleBigPlanet Karting

Weaponators are powerups a player can pick up in LittleBigPlanet Karting. They can emit any weapon such as a missile, speed up the player, and emit a weapon that transforms the players kart into objects such as boxing gloves and rockets. The weapon you get during a race depends on what position you are in. In addition, Weaponators can be used to shield the player from enemy Weaponators. Simply wait until the shield icon appears on your screen and press the back arrow and the menu button(or R1 and the back arrow depending on your controller preference) to shield yourself from the attack.

There are 3 different types of Weaponators which depend on their colour, those being the Manual Weaponizer (Green), Seeking Weaponizer (Red) and Self Weaponizer (Blue). Manual Weaponizers will always need to be aimed by the player in order to hit a target. Seeking Weaponizers, once launched, will home in on the nearest target, or targets, and they are the only weapons that, if homing on you, will warn you that you can defend yourself by using another Weaponator. Self Weaponizers, once used, will operate by themselves, most of them give you speed boosts, and in most cases, you can stun or hit players by ramming into them. There are 13 different weapons in the game.

There is also the Instant Weaponizer (Purple) but this remains unused in game. You can still create your own Instant weapons by going into the Tools Bag, find the Gadgets section, and scroll down to the Weaponizer category. In there, you can find all 4 Weaponizers.

The Weapon Incoming symbol will appear on the bottom of the screen if a Seeking Weapon is nearby, telling you that you are about to get hit. If you have a Weaponator on you, a shield icon will appear once the Seeking Weapon is behind you, telling you that you can defend yourself from the attack. If you defend yourself from the attack, the weapon will be used, and a message will appear on the right of the screen saying "Player Name" DEFEND!. If you don't defend yourself, or you simply don't have a Weaponator and you get hit by the attack, a message will appear on the right of the screen saying "Player Name" HIT YOU!, or if you get hit by a Non-Player weapon, the message will instead say HIT!. If you manage to hit a player with any weapon, a message will appear saying YOU HIT "Player Name".

The list of weapons that you can get from Weaponators are on the table below:
