Victoria's Laboratory
Victoria's Laboratory (also known as Victoria's Lab) is the second theme in LittleBigPlanet 2 and the third theme in LittleBigPlanet Karting. The theme is inspired by the Victorian era of the United Kingdom. It is based in a steam powered factory, mainly made of confectionery goods such as chocolate, cake, and frosting. Theme Description: "Victoria's house is under attack! She's all flustered by the Negativitron's attack - it's lucky you've come along. You can help!" - The Temperamental Baketress
Story & Theme
The background of Victoria's Laboratory is a 19th century Victorian steam powered factory composed of tall, cylindrical bulbs with helix-shaped wires around them. Stone arches can be found in some areas of the background. It has a pink sky by default. In LittleBigPlanet Karting, the background takes place in the interior of a Victorian-era building with circular walls, and a chandelier resembling a model of a solar system can be seen hanging above. Story Description - LittleBigPlanet 2: After Larry Da Vinci officially declares Sackboy to be a worthy member of the Alliance, the two set off to begin their mission to stop the Negativitron. The Negativitron's first target is Victoria's Laboratory; it infects her brainwave machine, transforming it into a machine that turns her cupcakes into Meanies. The Negativitron then kidnaps all of Victoria's Sackbots, leaving it up to Sackboy to liberate Victoria's Lab. Story Description - LittleBigPlanet Karting: After Sackboy leaves the Monster Islands, Victoria's Laboratory is the next stop. Victoria herself is nowhere to be found, with the only resident of the area being one of Victoria’s lab rats - Vernon, who notices that the Hoard are taking all of the sweet treats, which he values above anything else.
