The Pod is a large cardboard rocket frame and the place where the player is allowed to relax, and take time off from saving the Imagisphere from evil-doers. The player can decorate their Pod with stickers and decorations with the Popit. The pod has a PlayStation 3 or 4 Wireless Controller at the front called the pod computer you use it by pressing square in witch you will be brought to a menu where you your can play levels, create your own or join friends.

LittleBigPlanet
In LittleBigPlanet, the Pod is given to you following your completion of the introduction level. From its view, the player can see Craftworld, My Moon and the InfoMoon.
LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
The Pod does not have a large role in this game, as selecting a level is done without it. Instead, it is a place that can be selected where the player can change Sackboy's clothing.
LittleBigPlanet 2
In LittleBigPlanet 2, the Pod is given to Sackboy from Larry Da Vinci. From the view the player can see Craftworld and My Moon.
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita
This is a wider version of the LittleBigPlanet 2 pod except the pod computer is a PS Vita instead of a wireless controller. You access the pod computer by tapping it rather than pressing the menu button.
LittleBigPlanet Karting
The Pod in this game has a more circular shape than the Pod in previous games., It has a metal torch on top and a wide view from the front. Unlike other LittleBigPlanet games, you cannot move around.

In LittleBigPlanet 3, the Pod from LittleBigPlanet 2 returns.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
In Sackboy: A Big Adventure the pod is on the world map and instead of acting as a hub it is used to travel between themes. The pods has a more detailed appearance with blue sides a round plastic top that looks like a lid of some sort it also has some decorative bunting hanging above the windows on the outside.
Trivia
- The Pod was originally called the Puter, as shown in some concept art.
- It is possible to put materials and objects inside the Pod via certain glitches.
- An odd bus-shaped Pod can be found in the files of LittleBigPlanet 3. A player cannot use it as their actual Pod, and the intended use is unknown.
- Pod is actually a level and you can even obtain it as an object in create mode via glitches.
