All four materials of Scoreboard in LittleBigPlanet 3.
The Scoreboard is a major tool in every LittleBigPlanet game as it is what ends each level. The scoreboard will display your score and award you prizes for completing different objectives. It also acts as a checkpoint in most levels.
LittleBigPlanet[]
In LittleBigPlanet the scoreboard is curved cardboard like screen with a cardboard base for players to stand on. Once all players are standing in front of it, it will activate. The scoreboard will then display which objectives you have achieved, Level Complete, No Lives Lost and All Items Collected, awarding you with prizes for completing each one and playing a unique sound effect. Level Complete plays a bell tower dong, No Lives Lost plays the respawn sound and all items collected plays a rooster sound. The scoreboard will then display each player's score and if you're playing multiplayer, a trophy will appear above the head of the player with the most points with the camera zooming in on them. Lastly the Scoreboard will display the scores of everyone who has ever played that level, then the level will end giving you the option to either replay the level or continue.
LittleBigPlanet (PSP)[]

The Scoreboard in LittleBigPlanet PSP.
LittleBigPlanet (PSP)s scoreboard is a wider version of the one in LittleBigPlanet that plays different sound effects. Level Complete sound is the same, All Items Collected plays a bell tower chime a few times and No Lives Lost doesnāt play a sound at all.
LittleBigPlanet 2[]
The LittleBigPlanet 2 scoreboard is exactly the same as in LittleBigPlanet, but itās doesnāt have the camera zooming effect.
Versus Levels[]
In versus levels the Scoreboard will compare the playersā scores in a line graph.
LittleBigPlanet Karting[]
In LittleBigPlanet Karting the scoreboards objectives are instead for getting in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place after awarding prizes for that the Scoreboard will give you score bonuses for how well you did: Race Score, Position Bonus and Time Bonus.
LittleBigPlanet 3[]
The LittleBigPlanet 3 scoreboard is the LittleBigPlanet 2 Scoreboard but with a new feature of displaying your Collectabell count for that level.
Progress Board[]
LittleBigPlanet 3 introduced a new type of Scoreboard called a Progress board. When the Progress Board receives an input a large board that fills up the whole screen drops down from above and displays the same stuff as the LittleBigPlanet 2 Scoreboard with the additional feature of displaying your percentage of Organisertron quest progress completed.
Run Sackboy! Run![]
At the end of each run it shows your scores against characters from the LittleBigPlanet universe, and against your Facebook friends (if you have your Facebook account linked to Run Sackboy! Run!).
Sackboy: A Big Adventure[]
In Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the scoreboard is purple with lights around it. It measures the number of bubbles you've collected in the level and can give you prizes based on that. In the Knitted Knight Trials the scoreboard will see how quickly you completed the trial and will give you a Dreamer Orb based on that.
Trivia[]
- A scoreboard is actually a checkpoint. An experiment to prove this is going on the scoreboard without the other players next to you (you have to be in multiplayer to do this).
