Run Sackboy! Run is a free-to-play game to promote the LittleBigPlanet series. It was released in October 2014 on mobile phones and in March 2015 for the PSVITA. In the game, players run from the Negativatron through the Gardens, Avalonia, and the Canyons.
Gameplay
Players can control their Sack person with a simple touch to jump and a swipe to dash to escape the Negativitron. While running, players collect bubbles, which are used to buy costumes, upgrades, and more and hearts, which can be used to let the player respawn where they have died to continue running. Players also can collect stickers which can unlock an exclusive Run Sackboy Run T-shirt for use in all LBP games, a Toggle costume for use in LBP 3, and various in-game prizes such as hearts and bubbles. On the PSVITA version, there is an exclusive OddSock and Swoop costume for use in LBP 3.
Trivia
- If you get pass the canyons you appear in The Gardens again but at night same goes with Avalonia but with a sun rise and The Canyons but raining.
