The Metal Gear Solid Premium Pack is a game-changing add on for LittleBigPlanet. It adds many new features, including the Paintinator (the first usable weapon in the game), a whole load of new Stickers and Decorations and stuff for Create mode and 5 new Characters. The expansion is split into the Metal Gear Solid Premium Costume Pack, featuring the costumes for '''Old Snake''', Meryl, Screaming Mantis and Raiden, and the Metal Gear Solid Premium Level Pack featuring the Gurlukovich Soldier and the rest of the content.
Players who haven't bought the Metal Gear Solid Premium Level Pack can play the new story levels in online multiplayer by joining a host who owns the pack. They cannot, however, keep any new objects they collect while playing. Also, players who own the pack can create levels with content from the pack and share them online for anyone to play regardless of whether they own the pack.
Release
It was expected, due to a comment Sony's US PlayStation blog, that the content pack would be released on the 23rd of December 2008.[1] However, it was then reported that it would not be released on that date, and they couldn't confirm whether or not it was going to be released on the 24th.[2]
