Hello and welcome to the LittleBigPlanet Wiki on Fandom! The LittleBigPlanet Wiki serves as the ultimate resource for the LittleBigPlanet series and its many games. Since we are a community, the wiki has specific guidelines in order to help the wiki expand and prosper.
Fandom policies
On the LittleBigPlanet Wiki, as well as all wikis hosted on Fandom.com, all interactions must comply with Fandom's Terms of Use and other Fandom policies. This includes all edits, posts, and other uses of the website. Anything that violates Fandom's policies will be removed.

Fandom's policies are the only strict rules that absolutely must be followed at all times. The sections below consist of guidelines that can be a useful reference if you are unsure of how something should be done, but are not strict policy themselves. As long as your interactions on the LittleBigPlanet Wiki are constructive, you will be in good standing with the community.
You can make an edit to almost any existing article on the LittleBigPlanet Wiki, or create a new article if you believe something is missing. Various subjects are documented on the LittleBigPlanet Wiki; among these are levels, characters, menus, items, and games. If you are not sure how to write a new article about something, existing articles about a similar subject on the wiki can be a helpful guide to demonstrate how you should write about the subject.
What the LittleBigPlanet Wiki covers
The LittleBigPlanet Wiki is centered around the LittleBigPlanet series of video games, originally created by Media Molecule. The LittleBigPlanet intellectual property (IP) is currently owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The LittleBigPlanet Wiki documents content from across the LittleBigPlanet series - this includes the eponymous 2008 game and other video games that use the LittleBigPlanet IP, including spin-offs.
The LittleBigPlanet Wiki is focused on official games: those whose creation involved Sony Interactive Entertainment as the Developer, Publisher, and/or Licensor. However, unofficial content is allowed, provided that it is contained in a User blog or a post on the Discussions page.
Make new & old users feel welcome
As the LittleBigPlanet Wiki is a wiki, it is to be expected that multiple users will make changes to any work that is made public on it. This is all part of the process of improvement - assume other editors have good intentions, even if you disagree with their changes. In the event that you do, use the article's "Talk" page to discuss why you disagree with the change, what you would like to be done instead, and why.
Remember to be civil toward other editors; any post that disparages or insults another user is unhelpful. If you believe a user was wrong in making an edit, you can undo that edit, and send a message on the user's Message Wall or use the "Revision summary" to explain what they did wrong, and how they can do better when making edits in the future. Also, it is advised not to revert an entire edit if you only disagree with part of its changes.
Vandalism
It is always a good idea to describe the changes you made in the "Revision summary" - the text input box that appears above the "Save" button when editing an article. When you do this, others can quickly tell what you have done, and understand why you made those changes.
Some types of contributions are deemed unconstructive. Vandalism is any edit that impedes an article's usefulness by adding irrelevant text with no context or removing critical page components. If you see an edit that looks like vandalism, you can help the wiki by reverting it using the "undo" button on the article's revision history page. "Talk" pages are for discussing how to improve an article, not for discussing the article's subject in general - such discussion can also be deemed vandalism.
Is it necessary to follow the guidelines?
If any guideline seems to be preventing you from making an improvement to the LittleBigPlanet Wiki, feel free to completely ignore it. The community's comfort with a particular change can be much better at gauging that change's worth than a strict set of rules can be.
Feel free to ask for assistance
You can always refer back to this page if you are not sure of how to handle something. If you have any other questions, you can ask any of the LittleBigPlanet Wiki Administrators for help via the Message Wall. Welcome, and enjoy being part of the LittleBigPlanet Wiki community!
