Karting Lessons is the introduction level in LittleBigPlanet Karting. It is the first level the player finishes upon starting a save file, the first level in the

LittleBigPlanet area and is intended as a tutorial to inttoduce the game's mechanics to players. It is a simple oval-shaped track with only a few turns and no hazards. The player is taught the basic controls, how to drift, how to use Weaponators and how to utilize the Defense mechanic. The player must perform all of these actions to complete the race; there is no lap count, so the race will never end if the player does not follow the tutorial's instructions.

This level uses The Gardens background.

Trivia

This level has a interactive version of Left Bank Two.
This, Garden Grip and King's Castle are all based on The Gardens.
