Cloth earth lbp1

Craftworld, better known as LittleBigPlanet, is the planet where LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet (PSP), LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet Karting take place. It resembles the planet Earth if it was made out of several multi-coloured fabrics. It is the planet where the main protagonist of the series, Sackboy, lives.

Story

LittleBigPlanet 2

In the game, The Negativitron targets Craftworld and tries to consume it. To combat this threat, The Alliance confronts the monster and destroys it in battle, returning all that it consumed to the planet.

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita

In LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, Craftworld is targeted by the drifting planet of Carnivalia which is stealing away the larger planet's joy. Brought to the smaller world by the joy stealing, Sackboy is told by Sean Brawn that The Puppeteer is behind the scheme only for the two, along with the rest of the Creator Curators, find out that it is actually The Hollows that are stealing it to create more of them. When the original Hollows are defeated, the stolen joy returns to Craftworld.

LittleBigPlanet Karting

In LittleBigPlanet Karting, the Hoard target Craftworld and steal its treasures. When Sackboy follows the Hoard back to their home planet, the two join forces the Trash Monster. When it is destroyed, the Hoard's planet explodes, sending all of its stolen bounty through the Funkhole and back to Craftworld.

LittleBigPlanet 3

While Sackboy was taking a stroll one day in Craftworld, Newton brings him to Bunkum against his will and asks him to help stop the Titans. At the end of the game, Sackboy along with his new friends, OddSock, Toggle, and Swoop are sent back through the Dimensional Doorway. Their return is shown in The Journey Home.

Trivia

  • Craftworld may have been named after the first prototype for LittleBigPlanet.
  • Craftworld is much larger than Carnivalia, but is around the same size as Bunkum.
