Captain Pud is a minor character of LittleBigPlanet 3. He is 98 years old and known to be the husband of Nana Pud and father of Newton.

Captain Pud appears at the end of LittleBigPlanet 3, saving Sackboy, OddSock, Toggle, Swoop, and Newton from falling to their doom. He later takes them back to Stitchem Manor, and apologizes to Sackboy because of the inconvenience that Newton caused.
Appearance[]
Captain Pud bears a much closer resemblance to his son than his wife does. He has a light bulb head, just like Newton, but it is more roundish, and he bears a long mustache on the outside of the light bulb. A fish-like creature is present on his head which extends down to his waist and wraps around it like a belt. He wears a captain's suit, which is blue and gold.
Personality[]
Not much is known about him other than being Newton's father. However, in the challenge room Two's Company, it reveals that Captain Pud is an explorer and a gifted inventor.
From the few interactions we do see of him in the epilogue, he appears to be a slightly stern yet friendly and polite man, expressing embarrassment over his son's actions throughout the story yet still acting very fatherly and caring towards him despite the amount of damage he caused.

- His voice actor, Lewis MacLeod, also voices Oleg and King Bogoff.
- His costume can be acquired by acing Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes...
- It is mentioned in the Prologue that he made Newton's Airship.
- In the Sackbot menu, his light bulb glows blue instead of yellow.
